Lecture: The "Wild West" with my own eyes

The American Frontier comprises the geography, history, folklore, and cultural expression of life in the forward wave of American expansion, which ended with the admission of the last mainland territories as states. Enormous popular attention in the media focuses on the Western United States in the second half of the 19th century, a period sometimes called the Old West, or the Wild West, which seems to be well known, thanks to Westerns movies. However, the reality is much different from the dramatic, romantic, production of Westerns. Dr. Arsen Faradzhev, an anthropologist and a rock art (petroglyph art) specialist will be glad to talk about his subjective impressions using numerous animated pictures in Power point presentation.
