Languages are developing with us over the years, as it takes time for a newborn child to learn how to speak and later we start teaching him how to write. Thus, people started drawing pictures on the walls of the stone caves to leave a trace of their existence. As a result in ancient Syria appeared the first writing system — cuneiform. It turned out those Syrian sailors (Phoenicians) who expanded their trading roots beyond the known world, introduced the new, developed writing system and presented us with the precious gift and the most important invention — the Alphabet.
After creators of the Alphabet came in contact with other nations many Syrian words were adopted in other languages. These words changed over the years.
