This movie is written and directed by one of the most controversial film-makers of modern times. It’s often considered one of the most shocking cinematic experiences. Since its release in 2003 it has been keeping the audience and critics polarized both in terms of its aesthetic and meaning as probably no other one in film history. At the upcoming session of Film Club on August 18 at 7 p.m. we are going to talk about Lars von Trier’s “Dogville”. There will be no screening before discussion so you would be advised to watch/rewatch the movie yourself before attending. Film Club Presenter - Dmitry Leonov, will lead this event.
